Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Manitoba is an organization that keeps families together. We operate through our two core programs, Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room.

Ronald McDonald House, on 62 Juno Street in Winnipeg, is a home away from home for rural Manitoban and out-of-province families with a child requiring treatment at a nearby hospital. The program operates for families 24/7, 365 days a year. The House is a warm, supportive, and welcoming space where families can stay close, be together, and connect with each other in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Ronald McDonald Family Room is a home within the hospital for any family with a pediatric patient. Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week, 365 days a year, this space offers comfort and care for families within HSC Children’s Hospital. Three sleeping rooms offer overnight accommodations for families of children in critical situations. Our common areas offer space for moments of respite, rest, and reflection.

McDonald's is our founding and forever partner. McDonald’s® Restaurants of Canada, local McDonald's Owner/Operators, and their suppliers provide annual financial support to help sustain RMHC Manitoba's operations. However, the organization must still rely on the generosity of Manitobans for monetary donations, services, and gifts-in-kind for approximately 70% of its operating costs. RMHC Manitoba is supported by a compassionate community of supporters, dedicated staff, and caring volunteers.
