McDonald's is #HereForRMHC

McDonald’s has announced that it is committing $100 million to RMHC over five years as part of its purpose to feed and foster communities. This tremendous demonstration of support—the largest gift of this kind that we have received from McDonald’s Corporation—will allow RMHC Global to amplify our support of the system through direct grants, advertising, brand building, people development, and infrastructure support. 

Importantly, it will support RMHC Global's 2021-2024 Impact Strategy, allowing us to build capacity as we work together to increase access to quality health care for children and families.  This commitment from McDonald’s reflects the deepening of our relationship with our founding mission partner, along with widespread recognition of the tremendous impact of our global system. With 94% of RMHC Global expenses going directly to support local Chapters, this gift will serve to directly improve the lives of so many children and families all around the world! 

New Consumer Campaign Launch 
As part of the gift announcement, McDonald’s is launching a new consumer engagement campaign! The social media campaign, #HereforRMHC invites consumers to demonstrate support for our Charity by posting a photo or video of themselves making the RMHC heart symbol with their hands and posting it on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok or Facebook using #HereforRMHC. For each post McDonald’s will give $100 in the person’s name as part of the $100M commitment, as they make this contribution on behalf of their customers and community.  

We are very excited that celebrity power couple, McDonald’s fans and proud parents, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend will be joining in on the fun by posting on social media.
