Volunteers are an integral part of RMHC Manitoba's two core programs: Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room. Whether you are welcoming families at the front desk, baking cookies, or ensuring families have a freshly made bed, your generosity and commitment has a direct impact on RMHC Manitoba families.

Currently, we are looking for volunteers with a passion for our mission to fill volunteer spots at RMHC Manitoba's House or Family Room to help with a variety of tasks:

  • Welcoming guests
  • Giving House tours to volunteer groups
  • Preparing guest rooms
  • Baking
  • Light cleaning and organizing common spaces
  • Yard and garden care
  • And much more...

Applicants must be 18 years of age, show proof of full Covid-19 immunization, and are asked to commit to a four hour shift bi-weekly, for a minimum of six months. Volunteers are offered positions conditional upon the production of a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector within the last three months and Child Abuse Registry Check search. For Winnipeg residents, to obtain a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector, please go to the Winnipeg Police Service ePIC website. For individuals living outside Winnipeg, please apply at your nearest RCMP Detachment

Once we review your application and you are considered a potential candidate, we will contact you to set up an interview.
