Celebrating 40 Years of RMHC Manitoba

The $40 for 40 Years fundraiser will help RMHC Manitoba sustain operations at its new Ronald McDonald House program that opened its doors in September 2022.

The new House brought a 186% increase in mission delivery, growing from 11,000 sq. ft. to 60,000 sq. ft, and from 14 to 40 bedrooms with private washrooms for families in need. The new House also includes two kitchens to support meal programs, multipurpose rooms, specialty suites to serve bone marrow and organ transplant patients, secure parking, as well as indoor and outdoor play areas. 

With our new, expanded House program that opened its doors in fall 2022, RMHC Manitoba is supporting more families now than ever before. In 2023, during the first full year in our new Ronald McDonald House and continued support offered through our Family Room, RMHC Manitoba supported over 1,300 families from 292 communities with over 10,900 nights of accommodation. In addition, families staying at RMHC Manitoba saved over $3.4M in costly, out-of-pocket expenses.*
